  2. EXPANDING THE MANUAL
  3.  
  4.     The manual files which accompany SYSCOMM, ABSCOMM, and EDCOMM
  5. are in a compressed form.  Before printing them, you must expand
  6. them using the program MAKEMAN.COM.  Also, the manual has been split 
  7. into three parts for users who have single-sided drives.
  8.  
  9.     In order to expand the manual, run the batch file EXPAND.BAT.
  10. This file contains the following lines:

  12. MAKEMAN MANUAL1.!!! $1
  13. MAKEMAN MANUAL2.!!! $1
  14. MAKEMAN MANUAL3.!!! $1
  15. COPY MANUAL1.DOC+MANUAL2.DOC+MANUAL3.DOC MANUAL.DOC

  17.     Note that the batch file is only one example of how you can expand
  18. the manual.  You could place any of the parts on different drives and
  19. place the concatenated manual on another drive.  If you don't specify
  20. a drive on the command line for MAKEMAN, the expanded manual will be 
  21. written to the default disk.

  26.  
  27.     A change has been made to SYSCOMM in the dialing directory.  You may 
  28. now use up to 25 digits in the phone number rather than the 16 previously
  29. allowed.
